Troubleshoot Known Issues
Read theme documentation included in your download package for more information
Can't see any Contents:
After installing theme, I cannot see any of the contents I saw on the demo of this theme. |
Solution:
This is because weebly themes do not have contents, your website does. The contents you see on your website now and the ones you will eventually build are all located on your website, not the theme. This is why when and if you decide to change from one theme to another, your contents are not lost. Learn more about this issue Request Contents |
Texts Highlighter:
How do I set put the light background color behind texts? See example below: Example of: Highlighter |
Solution:
Select the part or all of the texts you wish to highlight and click italic symbol from the formatting bar, then click away. To change the color of the highlighter click: Theme > Theme Options > Text Highlighter. |
Bullet Points (Unordered Lists):
My texts with bulleted lists do not have the stylish circles. |
Solution:
You must have turned off the last theme option that reads "Don't Touch". Follow below instructions to fix it:

Star ratings:
I added a blockquote element and I can see the quote icon (which I like) but I cannot see the star ratings below customer name. How do I get this? |
Solution:
The star rating are available as html widget that you can insert to any part of your pages using the EMBED CODE element. See theme documentation for step-by-step guide. |
No read more button on blog:
My blog page doesn't show read more button. I have tried both the blog grid and blog list but it shows full posts. |
Solution:
It's because you haven't added the Read More Break element to your blog posts. Click here to learn how to add it. Take Note: You need to keep your first text element (the one before "read more" break) very short so that the blog columns look brief and neat as seen on theme demo. |
Footer Links:
How can I build the footer links? |
Solution:
|
White Color:
I cannot seem to get the theme options color selector to be white. I drag the small circle in the color box all the way to top left where white is but it still doesn't show white. |
Solution:
To get white color using the color selector, type in #fefefe as color code, then click away. |
